John A. Walsh Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of John A. Walsh of Oradell, New Jersey. John, born on August 14, 1939, passed away on August 19, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John A. Walsh to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Walsh and Evelyn Walsh (Hughes); his wife Helen (Freehill); his siblings, Marilyn and James; his sister-in-law Nancy Walsh; his sister Patricia; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Mcloughlin and Timothy Recker.
He is survived by: his family Helen; his children, Brigid King, Christine Delusant, John Walsh II, Jennifer Monahan and William Walsh; his grandchildren, Michael, Elena King, Ryan King, Marisa Gladstone, Nicholas, Jessica King, Noelle Delusant, Connor Delusant, Tori Delusant, Thomas Monahan Jr., Quinn Walsh, Rylee Walsh, Cayden Walsh and Kelsey Walsh; and his sisters, Madeline Recker and Lois Cass. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home (268 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (29 Jefferson Ave, Emerson, NJ 07630).
