He is survived by : his wife Mary Zerbo; his sons, John Zerbo Jr., Michael Zerbo (Lori) and Patrick Zerbo (Julie); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Louisa, James, Danielle and Gabrielle.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home (268 Kinderkamack Rd, Oradell, NJ 07649). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (29 Jefferson Ave, Emerson, NJ 07630).
