He is survived by: his wife Helen Rose Metres; his daughters, Brenda Asmann Bennett (Michael) and Laura Asmann Coogan (Jay); and his grandchildren, Michael Bennett, Jr., Jack Coogan, William John Coogan and Helen Coogan.
After his time serving his country and community, Bill spent 40 years in sales and advertising, and was most proud of his work for the American Heart Association.
