She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Evelyn Winkey-Shivers; her former husband McDonald Dowtin; and her son Michael Dowtin (Muquit). She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy M. Dowtin and Khadijah Saleem (Cheryl Dowtin); her daughter-in-law Danielle Peyton; her grandchildren, Rashidah Peyton, Jauhara Pressey-Motley (Derrick), Muniyra, Saad Peyton, Narjis Dowtin, Dayshon, Chaquan, Hajjah Peyton and Derrick Motley; her niece Yasmin Spain; her goddaughter Jeanette Harris; and also, Tyrone Loften, Keith Pressey and Wade Williams (Tony). She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends.
