She is survived by: her brother Oran; her friends, Peggy and Cathy; her daughter Deborah Hollis-Battle; her daughter-in-law Shelly Oliver Hollis; her grandchildren, Jalita McDougle (Ahmad McDougle), Sheaa Edwards, Hollis Edwards, Oran Hollis IIII, James Battle III, William Oliver Hollis and Sidney Hollis; her great grandchildren, M'siah Brown, Zalani Rose Edwards, Amir McDougle and Ahmad McDougle; her sister Carol Byngs-Newton; her great-nephew Najee Bernard; and her godchildren, Rev. George Britt, Ivy Hutchins-Best and Venus Watkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
