She was predeceased by : her mother Betsy Hanks. She is survived by : her children, Jasmine Hanks, Natshaunda Hanks and William Hanks.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service, Inc. (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodsworth Baptist Church (444 Woodsworth Rd, Henderson, NC 27537).
