He was predeceased by : his parents, Axel Reedell and Alice Reedell; his sister Carol Devlin; and his stepfather Cloyde W. Zulauf. He is survived by : his wife Debra; his children, Michael Reedell, Ryan Reedell (Marie) and Terri Reedell; his stepchildren, Heather Padgett and Kevin Padgett (Amy); his sisters, Joyce Nabasko, Alice Wright, Shirley Skinner and Gail Dozard; and his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Axel, Jules and Deanna.
