Alvita Liktorius-Barsky Obituary
In loving memory of Alvita Liktorius-Barsky (Paramus, New Jersey), who departed this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 72. Alvita leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandsons, Elijah and Lukas; her son Daniel; her husband Rob; her daughter-in-law Rebecca; her siblings, Rimas and Vyte Liktorius; her siblings' children, Darius, Daiva, Susann, Chrissy, Richard, Carolyn, Emma and Sarah; and also Ben Rapoport.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Dowdle Funeral Home (64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cedar Park Cemetery (735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A shiva was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Ali and Rob's Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or the Columbia University School of Social Work in Alvita's memory.
