It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Andre Chamoun (Paramus, New Jersey), born in Lebanon, New Jersey, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pierre Chamoun, Rosette Fares, Marie Moussawer, Yvonne Rizkallah, Violette Chamoun and Simon Chamoun.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Chamoun; his children, Marie-Ange Malyarovich (Alexander Malyarovich) and Julien Chamoun (Diana Chamoun); his grandchildren, Joseph-Pierre, Oliver, Talia, Elise and Emilia; and his sister Laurie Shammami. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Mark's Syriac Orthodox Cathedral (55 W Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
