He was predeceased by: his sister Wilma Tamboer; and his parents, Adrian Struyk and Jeanette Struyk. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Douglas, Vicky Struyk, Daniel, Sandra Struyk, Gillian and Frank Velardi; and his grandchildren, Carly, Jacob Shotmeyer, Juliana Struyk, Timothy Velardi, Paul Velardi and Robert Velardi.
