He is survived by: his children, Janice Shive (George) of Manahawkin, Vickie Black (Daniel) of Jackson, Stephen Hoyer of Toms River, Robert Hoyer of Toms River and Brendan Hoyer (Juli) of Asheville; his stepdaughter Laurie Greisch of Manchester; his friend Jane O'Rourke; his grandchildren, Chris Shive, Tina Winn, William Black, James Black, Killian Hoyer, Alexandra Hoyer and Jennifer Panko; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Greisch and Emily Greisch; and his great grandchildren, Jack Shive, Raegan Shive, Makenzie Shive and Julia Black.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals (66 Lacey Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
