In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping John's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen; his children, Michael De Lamater (Danielle Wager) and Megan De Lamater; his grandson Lucas; and his brothers, James De Lamater and George De Lamater.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Di Chiara Funeral Home (300 Main St, Lodi, NJ 07644). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph R. C. Church (40 Spring St, Lodi, NJ 07644). A committal service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (1 Terrace Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644).
