Margarita Pennisi Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Margarita Pennisi of Paramus, New Jersey. Margarita, born on February 2, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore "Babe" Pennisi; and her brother Joseph Ribaudo. She is survived by: her children, Joe Pennisi (Karen) and Christine Daley (Arnold); and her grandchildren, Joe (Katherine), Noelle, Jessica, Maya and Jason.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle R. C. Church - Saddle Brook (488 Saddle River Rd, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663).

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for the Garfield Public Library.
