He was predeceased by: his wife Millicent; his sons, Howard and Michael; and his brothers, Dr. Alfred Shapiro and Samuel Shapiro.
He is survived by: his brothers, George Shapiro (Linda) and Dr. Bernard Shapiro; his granddaughters, Bree Helwich (Mike) and Quinn Shapiro; his great grandchildren, Ensley and Everly; and his daughter-in-law Michele McKercher. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Park Cemetery (735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652).
