We announce the death of Mary Murphy of Park Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 89. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Maureen Murphy (Paul Roder), Eileen Murphy (Ingro Desvousges), Maurice Murphy (Sharon), John Murphy and Donna (John McGoldrick); her grandchildren, Rachel Roder (Nick Sanville), Ryan Roder, Peter Desvousges (Nikki), Crystal Desvousges (Anthony Vischetti), Kiera Murphy, Reece Murphy (Jillian), Shane Murphy, Conor McGoldrick and Seamus McGoldrick; and her great grandchildren, Madison Desvousges, Cooper Desvousges and Elliot Sanville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Becker Funeral Home (219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ 07675). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (668 Ridgewood Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
