He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ament and Victoria Ament; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Christine Ament; his children, Ashley Ament and Ryan Ament; his brother Edward Ament; his sister-in-law Sharon Ament; and his nieces, Caitlin Ament and Samantha Ament. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home (15 Cherry Ln, Parlin, NJ 08859). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church (531 Washington Ave, South Amboy, NJ 08879).
