He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Tier and Louise Tier; and his sister Louise Tier. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Guzman; his sisters, Catherine (David Florczak) and Kim Tier (David Roberts); and his nephew David Florczak (Maria).
