He was predeceased by : his significant other Bessie Mabel Inman; his wife Amelia Patricia Griffin; his brothers, Merle, Howard and Stanley; and his son Paul.
He is survived by : his sons, Jack, Bernard Jr. and Danny. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
