He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pappas and Irene Pappas (Krampovitis); his wife Sylvia (Rahaniotis); and his brother Spiro Pappas. He is survived by: his children, Maria Pappas, Irene Pappas Karton (Tony) and John Pappas; his grandsons, James and Nicholas Karton; his sister-in-law Georgia Pappas; and his nieces, Pamela Pappas and Cynthia Hollister (Carl).
