He is survived by: his granddaughter Jackie; his sisters, Eileen Backe and Mary Alice Coudreaut; his children, Coleen Agzigian Butchko and Joseph Patrick McLaughlin; his wife Joyce Ortell; his daughters, Maureen Gillespie, Deirdre D'Agostino and Karen Lovins; and his grandchildren, Jacob Brancato and Brittany Brancato Wiles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home (16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (10 N Pocono Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046).
