It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Paula A. (Schmelzer) Dennehy of Parsippany, New Jersey, who passed away at the age of 74, on September 5, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Paula may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paula touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Vivienne June Schmelzer (Swigart); her husband James J. Dennehy; her father Henry Schmelzer; and her sisters, Roseanne Hudak and Gretchen Sheridan.
She is survived by: her siblings, Henry Schmelzer (Chis) and Lisa S. Newman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
Memorial donations to Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, 194 NJ -10, East Hanover, NJ 07936 in in Paula's memory will be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
