He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred W. Hasell and Helene Patricia; and his sister Patricia Eidswick. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Diane Hasell; and his children, Jacqueline Michelle Masi (Stephen) and William Robert Hasell.
