She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Elizabeth Smith and Harris "Buster" Brown; and her siblings, Elizabeth "Tootie" Pope and Jerome "Jay" Brown. She is survived by : her husband Frank Tyrone Simpson; her children, Kevin Simpson, Che Che Boone and Tia Campbell; her grandchildren, Dawaun, Maurice, Justin, Jordyn, Cochise and Jihad; and her siblings, Carol Parker and Donald "Donnie" Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
