She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kizar and Flossie Marie Walker; and her siblings, Ann Ilean Walker and Dave Mack Walker. She is survived by: her husband Theodore Joyner; her daughter Angela Joyner of Somerset, NJ; and her siblings, Otis Walker (Kate) of Detroit, MI, Marjorie Davis of Warrenton, NC, Simon Walker of Pittsburgh, PA, Dorothy Walker of Detroit, MI, Loretta Raiford of Norfolk, VA, Doretha Staples (Ronald) of Eads, TN and Alvin Walker of Eads, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Team Awesome Alvin through the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis & the Mid-South, in loving memory of Corinne Joyner, beloved big sister of Alvin Walker.
