With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deacon Willie E. McCrary (Passaic, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mozell McCrary Lewis and Eddie Jackson; his stepson Charles Richardson; and his siblings, Ulysses Lewis, Wilbert McCrary, James Otis McCrary, Arbuckle Milner, Sr., Martha Blanford, Betty Briggs, Mattie Holland and Mary Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Rev. Bettie McCrary; his children, Nancy McCrary of New Jersey, William McCrary of New Jersey and Robbie Alston of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Malik McCrary, Desirae Alston Taylor (Michael), Robyn Alston, Sean McCrary, Timothy McCrary Jr., Aden McCrary and Ashley James; his great grandchildren, McKenzie McCrary and Danielle Taylor; his sister Elizabeth Eaton of New Jersey; Marion Alston of North Carolina and Timothy McCrary (Linda) of New Jersey. He is also survived by his in-laws; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, mentees, and friends.
