She was predeceased by : her parents, Ada Williams and Johnny Allen; her grandmother Annetta Askew; and her aunt Fannie Williams. She is survived by : her cousin Johnny Askew; her daughter Fannie Mae Sparrow; her grandsons, Maurice Sparrow, Charles Sparrow and Phillip Sparrow; and her cousins, Lowell Askew, Shirley Jackson and Raymond Hogan. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
