She was predeceased by: her father Hezekiah Griggs Jr.; her brother Hezekiah Griggs III; and her grandmothers, Beatrice Williams and Gloria Armstrong. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Griggs of Fayetteville, NC; her son Kobe Watson of Passaic, NJ; her siblings, Shafon Griggs-Bullard (Willie) of Atlanta, GA, Shannell Griggs of Atlanta, GA, Kahliia Boyce of Atlanta, GA and Ja'leel Boyce of Atlanta, GA; her nieces, Paris Bullard of Atlanta, GA and London Bullard of Atlanta, GA; her grandfather Bennie Williams of Atlanta, GA; her aunts and uncles, Shelley Williams of Atlanta, GA, Rene Griggs of Passaic, NJ, Michelle Griggs of New Britain, CT, Robin Dawkins-Khan (Gul) of East Hartford, CT, Randy Williams (Sharla) of Blakeslee, PA and Arthur Griggs; her godson Dorian Stewart of Paterson, NJ; her godmother Cynthia Edwards; and her close friend Kira Washington.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Home- Passaic (143 Myrtle Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the East Ridgelawn Cemetery (225 Main Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011).
