He is survived by: his children, Starkima Poindexter of Paterson, NJ, Todd Kelley, Lamont Poindexter of Paterson, NJ and Cleshon Poindexter of South Carolina; his siblings, Mae Emma Jean of Bound Brook, NJ, Robert (Delaware), Beatrice, Valerie of Paterson, NJ, Teresa, David Carr of East Orange, NJ and Nathaniel (Pennsylvania); his grandchildren, Datrell Zimmion, Taeisha Kelley, Fatirhah, YaSinarhah Robinson, Tyairah Kelley, Merriayah, Sa'Mya Poindexter, Hailey Martin, Sariya Marshall and Mih'Legaci Poindexter; his great grandchildren, Ta'byis Kelley, Ta'liyah, Tayler George, Kayson Frye and Sylo Clark; his aunt Delores Poindexter of Roselle, NJ; and his close friend Betty Jackson of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
