Amelia Merlino Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia Merlino of Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amelia Merlino to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin DiPirri and Adeline DiPirri; her children, Anthony (Gail Lanzo), John (Loretta), Cheryl and Michele Phalon (Mike); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Melissa (Frank), Anthony, Benjamin, Cesar, Isabella, Salvatore, Maximilian and Michael; and her great grandchild Makayla. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santangelo Funeral Home (635 McBride Ave, Woodland Park, NJ 07424). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bonaventure Church (174 Ramsey St, Paterson, NJ 07501).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amelia's memory to a foundation or charity of your choice.
