With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara (McCrae) D. Stuart (Paterson, New Jersey), who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie McCrae (Bud) and Melinda McCrae. She is survived by: her boyfriend Luther Jones; her children, Marc Stuart (Melissa), Karima Pauling Buffy Shorter (Antione) and Veronica; her grandchildren, Yasmaine (Nucky), Marquasia (Marki), Malaya, Maziah, Mihanna, Novi, Macari, Kaywuan, Kamari and Dalmetri; her siblings, Gordon McCrae (Wanda), Dorothy Turner, Elaine Chance, Linda Hawthorne (Rita), Tracey Crawford (Preston) and Amanda Davis (Dynell); and her godsons, James Covington and Terrance McCrae. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Home- Paterson (256 Rosa Parks Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
