With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Kearney (Paterson, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Hymon Sr. and Irene Russell Hymon; her husband William "Bill" Kearney; her son William Kearney Jr.; and her siblings, Phil Hymon Jr., Mary H. Watson, Minnie H. Townes, Mae Ella H. Alston, Anna H. Davis and Cora Lee H. Simes.
She is survived by: her son Mark Kearney of Paterson, NJ; her grandsons, Bernard McKnight of Neptune, NJ, Quashon Kearney of Paterson, NJ and Alquan Joyner of Metairie; her brothers-in-law, Ervin Kearney of Warrenton, NC, Bobby Kearney (Ada) of Newark, NJ and Earl Roger Kearney of Paterson, NJ; her nieces, Bertha Massenburg and Mamie Kearney of Paterson, NJ; and her friend Vincent Wilkerson.
