He was predeceased by: his parent Celia Powell Davis; and his sister Evelyn Powell. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Jones; his children, LaTasha, Eddie, Tiffany and Bryan Hardy; and his brother Stewart Powell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
