He was predeceased by: his parents, Inocensio Rivera and Nieves Arroyo Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Maria A. Rivera; his siblings, Benjamin Rivera and Bebe Rivera; his sons, Mario Rivera Jr., Henry Rivera, James Rivera and Wilfred Rivera; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jesse, Kirstin, Sophia, Tyler and Desi.
