With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nilsa Ramos of Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Antonio Hernandez and Obdulia Acevedo Hernandez; her husband Samuel Ramos; her siblings, Ruthie Rodriguez, Judith Pizarro, Tony Hernandez and Johnny Hernandez; her children, Yvette Agosto, Rosemary Paragas, Samuel Ramos Jr. and Juan Manuel Ramos; her children-in-law, Ramil Paragas and Lymari Ramos; and her grandchildren, Jessica L. Agosto, Anthony Agosto, Jr., Christian R. Paragas, Michael D. Ammonds, Mariah A. Ramos, Ethan R. Paragas, Jordan D. Ramos, Sarai I. Ammonds and Aiden Samuel Ramos.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martinez Memorial (747 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07513-1240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Laurel Grove Cemetery (295 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
