“It is with a heavy heart that I am saddened of the news of Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik's passing. He was a great man, leader, and Sheriff. My prayers and sympathy are with his wife and family. Also, with his family of officers with the Passaic County Sheriff's Office. As a resident of Passaic County and Clifton, I will always be grateful of his leadership and his kindness.
