It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan L. Conway of Paulsboro, New Jersey, who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Alexander Silvestro Sr. and John Robert Conway; and her sister Patricia Smith. She is survived by: her children, Debra Pickering (John), Alexander Silvestro Jr. (Debbie) and Stephen Silvestro (Stacy); her sister Kathleen Salvatore (Dave); her grandchildren, Suzanne, Alexander III, Michelle, Michael, Marissa, Patrick and Stephen Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Sofia, Giovanni, Viviana, Theodore, Oliver and Audrey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (313 Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ 08027). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salem County Humane Society, 214 Game Creek Rd, Penns Grove, NJ 08069, would be appreciated.
