Queeni (Alton) and Sakina (Leon); his grandchildren, C'dasia Higgs, Selina Higgs, Kavon Petersen, Ava Wilburn, Jedidiah Smith, Yahsir Thomas and Sanai Reeves; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Higgs, Donovan Hill, Kamara Byrd and Yahsir Thomas, Jr.; his stepmother Dr. Wanda Wilburn; and his mother-in-law Nettie Higgs. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
