David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Pickering and Florence Rubin Pickering. He is survived by: his sister Linda Pickering; his nephews, Jonathan and Matthew; and his niece Abigail Bomba.
All those extra calories got worked off by swimming laps at the local YMCA pool several times a week for decades– until COVID-19 closed the pools.
Never shy about participating, David would be the one to dress up in the Santa suit or donate blood to the local Red Cross.
