We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, at the age of 94, James R Batholomew of Pennington, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth, Betty, Jean, Barbara and John; and his parents, Robert Bradford Bartholomew and Elsie Webster of Hoboken, NJ..
He is survived by: his children, Libby Bartholomew, Sarah Bartholomew Shell and William Bartholomew; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Julia Bartholomew and Henry Shell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church (80 W Broad St, Hopewell, NJ 08525).
