She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley "Chip" Boyer and Dorothy Rose Nevius; her brother Allan Bergen Boyer; her husband Paul L. Wood; and her mother-in-law Elease Estelle Wood.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Boyer and Leslie "Chick" Wood Andretti; her son-in-law Chad Curry; her son Derrick Wood; and her grandsons, Cole Boyer, Jacob Boyer and Lucca Andretti. She is also survived by friends and friends she loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Phyllis Boyer Wood.
