He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Swissler and Marie Swissler of Joseph's University; his former wife Sally Ryan Swissler of Phillipsburg, NJ; and his siblings, Philip Swissler of Chelmsford, MA and Mary Rita Doorley.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon McAtee Swissler; his grandchildren, Amy Swissler Hutnik (Bill), Daisy, Chance, Rebecca Swissler Murphy (Mark), Hugh and Margaret; his brother Thomas J. Swissler (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Dan McAtee and Betsy (Joe Rybczinski). He is also survived by his daughters, sons-in-law.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. James Chapel (6 Eglantine Ave, Pennington, NJ 08534). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Harbourton Cemetery (1516 Harbourton Rocktown Rd, Lambertville, NJ 08530).
