She was predeceased by: her brother Scott; and her father-in-law John Coyle. She is survived by: her parents, Richard McDowell and Sandra McDowell (Haskins); her children, Joseph Michael, Jr. and Kathleen Bernadette; her husband Joe; her sister-in-law Janice McDowell; her brother Greg Nowakowski (Therese); and her nieces and nephews, Ricky, Samantha, Christian, Jessica, Kristen, Olivia and Cora.
In lieu of flowers, Chanin has requested donations be made to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church at the above address.
