She was predeceased by: her brother Scott; and her father-in-law John Coyle. She is survived by: her parents, Richard McDowell and Sandra McDowell (Haskins); her children, Joseph Michael, Jr. and Kathleen Bernadette; her husband Joe; her sister-in-law Janice McDowell; her brother Greg Nowakowski (Therese); and her sibling's children, Ricky, Samantha, Christian, Jessica, Kristen, Olivia and Cora.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home (6600 Browning Rd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (43 W Maple Ave, Merchantville, NJ 08109). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 W Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002).
In lieu of flowers, Chanin has requested donations be made to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church at the above address.
