She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" Szymanski III, Melodie Szymanski (Biasiello) and Katie Wittkop (Szymanski); her grandchildren, Olivia (Wittkop) and Angelo DeMalia; her children, Sadie Wittkop, David Szymanski Jr., Andrew Wittkop and Sofia Szymanski; and her siblings, Anne Gross (Kearney), Terri (Gross), Thomas Fitzgerald, Regina (Gross) and Michael Onorato.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home (2426 Cove Rd, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08109). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions to be directed to the United Way or the American Red Cross.This preference ensures that Betty's legacy of community leadership and dedication to organized philanthropy will continue.
