He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Eylin Vega; his children, Efrain Ortiz, Maggy Ortiz, William Ortiz (Onery), Heriberto Ortiz (Gloria) and Nelson Ortiz (Sonia); and his siblings, Luz Maria, Carmen, Iris, Letty, Ramon, Miguel, Santiago, Adolfo and Nelly. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
