As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sister Eileen Koerner. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his sister Marjorie Eckel; and his children, William of Simsbury, CT, Thomas (Linda) of Vernon, CT, Susan Hoff (Rick), Kathleen Shoop (Stephen) of Freehold, NJ and Diane Pawlowski (Michael) of Enfield, CT. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church (525 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204, USA). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
