She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank and Anna Bozorth; her former life partner Charles W. Brainard Sr.; her husband George M. Hockman; her sons, Charles W. Brainard Jr., Robert C. Brainard and Ronald G. Brainard; her grandsons, Daniel W. Brainard and William J. Brainard; her great grandchild Dillion S. Brainard; and her siblings, Frank Bozorth, Beatrice Bertacci and Phyllis Carter.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Ann Counsellor (Paul) and Denise Singley; her daughter-in-law Mary Brainard; her grandchildren, Donna McCarthy (Peter), Jeffrey Counsellor (Cindy), Charles W. Brainard III (Sherri), Richard Brainard (Kim), Robert Brainard, Christopher Counsellor (Barbara), Eric Brainard (Alicia), Darla Brainard, David Singley (Jessica), Nicholas Singley (Sharlene) and Mathew Singley (Kelly); and her sister Mary Grace Prestis (Ron) of Vineland, NJ.. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. And many cherished nieces and nephews.
