Brian Lee Lindsey Obituary
When I try to name the most intelligent, sharp-witted, honest, laid back, and quite frankly the coolest person I've ever known, no other name comes to mind. Now if you are reading this and never met my grandfather you may be thinking to yourself "This sounds biased.." however if you were so lucky to be one of the many who knew him, then even if you don't care to admit it, you know I am right on the matter. He enjoyed his life, as most of us do, and roared through it like a wildfire until around the age of 39 when his grandchildren started making their way into the world, after that he simmered down and kept his roaring to what one would maybe call a "mildfire". He retired from DuPont after 36 years as an Electrical Representative for the C.W. association, nothing made him happier than being paid to argue. Apart from his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he loved and cherished his family more than anything in this world (on the condition that we didn't go anywhere near his albums, speakers or stereo system). And we, as a whole, loved and cherished him. Waiting for him at the gates of Heaven were his beloved parents Clay and Margaret Lindsey. As for the Clan he left behind: his favorite sister Donna Lindsey and his nephew Scott Land. His children Tara (and of course Ted) Michele, Aaron, and Jeremiah. His grandchildren Teddy, Jacob, Grace and Caden. His great-grandchildren Lorelai and Lumidee. And lastly myself, Briana Leigh, named after the greatest person I ever knew, I love you PopPop.
We invite you to celebrate his life with us Saturday May 14th at Ashcraft Funeral Home in Pennsville, Greetings from 10-11am, Service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
