He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Mitchell and Arlene Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Edward James; his sisters, Rosemary Mitchell (Ellen Brennecke) and Kathleen Steirman (Joel); his grandchildren, Edward Mitchell and Pamela Mitchell; his close friends, Mick and Terri Harrison; and his best buddy Harper.
