With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Paul Melnick Sr. of Pennsville, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather George Armstrong Jess Sr.; his mother Chrissie Marie Jess Melnick (Jess); and his parents-in-law, Augusta Virginia Bagwell Garrison and Edward Tatum Garrison, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Emma Elizabeth Garrison Melnick; his children, Steven Paul Melnick Jr. (Candace Burlingame) and Shirley Marie Melnick (Mickey Crouse); his cousin Joseph Robert Ford; his grandchildren, Kristian D. McNiss Jr. (Brittany Williams-McNiss), Emma Marie McNiss and Mirissa Michele Melnick; and his great grandchild Virginia Ruth McNiss.
