With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Greene of Pennsville, New Jersey, who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Greene (Hartfuss) and Samuel Greene; and his siblings, Samuel and June. He is survived by: his wife Constance; his son William, Jr. (Sharon); his brother Larry; and his grandsons, Joshwa and Jeremy. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lawnside Cemetery (1017 US-40, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098). A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
